Kennon Manufacturing Sheridan, Wy

Steel is in the air at the Kennon Manufacturing (www.kennonproducts.com) campus in Sheridan, WY.  As a producer of quality sun shields for the aviation industry, Kennon has extended its roots in the Wyoming community by investing in a new, 30,000 SF, state-of-the-art facility.  Sletten Construction (www.slettencompanies.com) awarded this pre-engineered metal building to B&C Steel in the spring of 2020, due to its competitive price and industry-leading customer service.  Kennon Manufacturing is not the typical ‘box-building’.  Arete Design Group (www.aretedesign.group) planned this project around eight ‘single-slope’ roof transitions, which consist of large overhangs/soffits.  Included in the design is another 6,000 SF of mezzanine space, which is being provided by B&C Steel.  The roof system will be comprised of B&C’s 18” standing seam, while the wall panels will be a blend of 7/8” corrugated ‘COR-TEN’, B&C’s 12” flush panel, along with Metal Sales’ PBU and IC72 panels.

Polar Service Centers Casper, WY

Polar Service Centers Casper, WY

Polar Service Centers is the nation’s largest network of commercial parts and repair facilities dedicated to the tank trailer and tank truck industry (www.polarservicecenters.com).  When PSC looked to expand into the Rocky Mountain region, they chose Can Do Construction to develop their 23,000 SF campus in Casper, WY.  As Can Do’s metal building supplier, B&C Steel provided a streamlined approach for cost-estimating, engineering, and steel fabrication. This metal building has a 5-ton bridge crane to service tank trailers, along with an intricate series of roof I-beams that are part of the ‘fall-protection safety’ that workers latch their harnesses to while servicing equipment.  B&C Steel also supplied the bar joists and decking for 1,500 SF of the mezzanine, as well as the walk doors, and B&C’s ‘R’ panel roof and wall sheeting.

Kindvall Siding and Construction of Scottsbluff can be seen here installing a standing seam insulated metal panel. The existing roof is about 22,000 square feet. We used an insulated metal panel as they’re known for their superior thermal properties. Half of this roof covers a pool, and with a pool comes moisture and condensation issues. With an insulated metal panel, we get a weather-tight roof that provides a strong thermal and moisture barrier.

It boasts nearly 88,000 square feet of flex-space for livestock shows, agriculture exhibits, farm and ranch trade shows, rodeo competition, and concerts. This building features a B&C ‘PBR’ roof and wall system, translucent panels on the sidewalls, and a 40’ x 18’ Higher Power lift door.
